Hi Everyone, Well the US election behind us, another interest rate cut and now only 1 month to Christmas. Can you believe it.
Here is the lastest OCTOBER 2024 STATS for the NIAGARA REGION. Both by Month vs Month (September 2024 vs October 2024) & Year vs Year (October 2023 vs October 2024).
UNIT SALES
In the reports below, you will notice that UNIT SALES (October 2024 vs September 2024) Unit sales INCREASED by 10.5% in UNIT SALES.
(September 2024 vs September 2023) there was an 43% INCREASE in UNIT SALES the year prior. Maybe this could have been a result of the small rate decreases
SALE PRICES
You will see that the SALE PRICES (September2024 vs October 2024) there was small decrease by (-.02%) in AVERAGE PRICE & remained at $640,000 however SALE PRICES (October r2023 vs October 2024) there was another drop (.4%) DECLINED in SALE PRICES from the prior year.
NEW LISTINGS
You see that the NEW LISTINGS (September 2024 vs October 2024) there was a DECREASE in listings by (12.6%) and NEW LISTINGS (OCTOBER 2023 vs OCTOBER 2024) increased by 5.6% year over year.
The Bank of Canada meets again on DECEMBER 11TH, and there was hope that there would be another HALF POINT DECREASE.
